Our goal for this session is twofold: firstly, to gather valuable insights and experiences that will inform the work our organization and, secondly, to create a supportive space where individuals can connect and share their journeys amongst those who understand the challenges and triumphs of being justice impacted and the

reality of reentry. Hosted by The Legal Revolution Law Firm, this event offers a safe and supportive space for justice-impacted individuals to share their experiences and insights. Join us for a special listening session where the voices of the community are amplified.

Felony Murder Reform

Historically, many Minnesotans were convicted of “murder” who did not commit an act resulting in a person’s death.  Rather, Minnesota’s “felony murder law” permitted prosecutors to charge a person with murder who lacked any intent to harm a person or were unaware a killing could occur.  Changes to Minnesota law address this issue and those already impacted by felony murder convictions.
